We've been super busy this month. Sickness in our family, death, doctor appointments and learning new things.
Jacob spent 2 weeks in South Carolina with his grandma helping family with sickness and ending in death. While he was there he was learning about our family history and heritage. He's fallen in love with the community and wants to move.
I held the home front down while they they were away and Hunter and I learned some new words. Blue,bee,two and he's starting to do addition but told me "Grams I like minusing better." He made a leaf man this week too.

Sorry I haven't posted this week but we had a death in the family and had to travel out of state.We are back home safe and sound but it got cooler while we were gone.
Getting back in the swing of things at home has involved Jacob learning how to become President.Sometimes I wonder if he's really learning then he surprises me by asking his grandmother if she knew people had to be 35 years old before they could run for Presidency.WOW!!!Score one for education!!!LOL!
Hunter is progressing on spelling numbers and colors.Last week he asked if he spelled "two" could he have two cookies.Pretty smart little guy so I told him he should learn to spell "three" so he could have more cookies.I spelled it for him and he reached for a third cookie!!Sneaky!!!

It's been beautiful weather here the past few days but I've been cooped up in the house due to a back injury. Continuing the Election study with Jacob and he's really trying to learn as much about politics as he can.Going to try and hit up some live political speeches for the experience.

Little out side fun

So Hunter wanted to go outside today. He gathered cut grass to make his own hay bale, even found a yellow band to hold it together. We're learning something all the time whether it's birdwatching, rolling down hills or just debarking a stick.
