Anxiously I waited for the delivery of this Bible.You see Jacob has a large collection of Bibles
and I was surprising him with this one.When I was given the opportunity to receive the book
and review it there was no hesitation.
Yes it is an illustrated Bible with more than 40 Bible stories but after opening it I knew it was
a great tool for any age to understand that God's spirit has been with us since the beginning
of time.This Bible starts with the awesomeness of creation and continues through Paul's
letters.Stories through the Old and New Testaments come alive before your eyes with the
illustrations.The dramatic illustrations were done by Fernando Juarez,a Spanish artist who
illustrates children's books and is an art supervisor for Madrid studio llion Animation. The
company is a producer of 3D feature films for children. When Fernando isn't doing
illustrations he plays guitar in a rock band and enjoys spending time with his three children.
A freelance writer and editor, Doris Rikkers, presented the moving text of
The Spirit of God.She loves the ocean but makes her home in Grand Rapids,Michigan
where she's surrounded by her books, flower gardens, friends and family.
The book is a hardback with foil on the front cover which makes it sparkle and shine.I
opened our book while outside in the sun and it was beautiful to see it come alive.So if you're
looking for that special gift for someone's birthday or Christmas Jacob and I suggest buying
this book.
